This is a fantastic product that packs so many features into a product approximately the size of an audio cassette. The first thing that you will notice when you take the h1940 from its box is the small size and the rock solid build quality. It is also very light and can be placed in your shirt pocket and youll hardly know its there.
The h1940 further amazes as soon as you hit the On button.
The screen is one of the best I have seen on any Pocket PC currently on the market and this includes products three times its price.
The clarity and colour definition of the screen is absolutely astounding and HP have got the design spot-on, with none of the dust underneath the screen issues associated with the previous line of Compaq Ipaqs.
The processor uses the latest Pocket PC 2003 software and runs all the built in apps with ease, including media player 9 video and MP3 files with silky smooth performance.
Built-in Bluetooth means that you can sync up with no wires to suitably equipped laptops or other Bluetooth devices such as mobile phones etc.
The battery gives an excellent 8 hrs usage time from a single charge, which is double the amount of its kid brother the H1910.
The memory card on the top of the device is SDIO which means not only can it be used for increasing memory size, but also for expanding the functionality of the devices with things such as SD 802.11b wireless cards etc.
The H1940 is, in my view, the best value for money pocket PC currently in production and if you dont believe me, try it for yourself, youll be picking your bottom lip up off the floor.
Final Verdict: BUY BUY BUY!!!!
